Olimpia McAlister

Accounts Payable

Bay Mountain Capital is pleased to welcome Olimpia McAlister as the newest member of the Accounting team. Olimpia is a graduate of Texas A&M University, where she double majored in Finance and Accounting and graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration in 1996.

Upon her graduation, Olimpia moved to the Dallas area where she spent three years working in the field of accounting in commercial insurance. After that, Olimpia spent eight years working in real estate fund accounting.

While she enjoyed her time in the field of accounting and built many valuable skills while working within this profession, Olimpia left the field to pursue a career in education. She completed the Texas State Board of Education Generalist accreditation program in 2008. From then on, Olimpia taught students in kindergarten, 2nd, and 3rd grade until 2018, when she took some time off to be with her family.

However, in 2019 she returned to accounting. She began working part-time for Bay Mountain Capital in September of 2019 after being hired for her new position in Accounts Payable.

“We are thrilled to have Olimpia as part of our team at Bay Mountain Capital.  She brings knowledge and experience from her time as an accountant plus dedication and patience from her time as an educator.  We look forward to the time when she will be a full-time employee as our team continues to grow.” said Pam O’Bar, Chief Accounting Officer at Bay Mountain Capital.

As a member of the Accounting team at Bay Mountain Capital, Olimpia will provide valuable financial support to the organization, helping with the completion of payments and other processing and invoicing tasks. Olimpia will be able to use the knowledge and skills she has gained throughout her career within the organization, helping to ensure the continual improvement of the payment processes at Bay Mountain Capital.

“It’s an honor to be a part of the Bay Mountain Capital team. I am looking forward to continuing to serve our clients and the team from an accounting perspective,” said Olimpia McAlister.
